013 - First Bus Ride

Romero, a twelve week old black lab puppy is lying under the seat of a city bus. On either side of him are the legs of a person wearing blue jeans and red and black winter boots. Romero has a thin red nylon leash that is attached to his collar under his chin and hangs loosely over his shoulder and stretches up to his handler above him. He is wearing his green future dog guide jacket. He has a cute, droopy puppy face with big velvety black ears and round brown eyes. He is looking into the camera with a content or perhaps bored expression on his face. He looks like he's already a pro at public transportation.

012 - Ear Cleaning Day

Romero, a twelve week old black lab puppy, is lying on a hardwood floor in front of an olive green couch, attached to a tie down by a red nylon leash. He is resting on his left hip with both back legs lying to the right, and both long front legs stretched in front of him. He is looking right into the camera and has clear, round, dark brown eyes. Both of his ears are flipped back as he had just had his ears cleaned, so the light pink skin is showing through all his black shiny fur. He looks pretty goofy - almost like mickey mouse!

011 - Waiting for Lunch

Romero, a 12 week old black lab wearing a blue collar sits on the floor of a kitchen with beige tile floors and burgundy walls. Admittedly, in this picture, he looks just like a black blob with two round eyes in the top. A few inches in front of him is a metal bowl full of small round kibbles. He is waiting patiently to be released to go eat it.

010 - Hanging Out With "Big Sister" Dallas

Dallas, a full grown black lab wearing a red collar and Romero, a 12 week old black lab wearing a blue collar are laying together on a cream carpet in front of a beige bookcase filled with textbooks. The two dogs are laying about a foot apart, with their front legs angled in towards each other and Romero's right paw resting against Dallas' left paw. Dallas has light brown eyes and a rather funny expression on her face - her eyes are looking slightly in the opposite direction from Romero and her right ear is raised back as if listening for a sound. Romero has darker brown eyes and is looking more prim and proper, staring directly into the camera with his head on the slightest tilt.

009 - Car Ride

The picture is taking through the open passenger door of a (parked!) small blue car. The interior of the car is black. Romero, a black lab puppy is sitting up in the footwell of the passenger seat. There is a white towel and a blue fleece blanket patterned with dog bones on the floor where Romero is sitting. Romero is wearing a blue collar, red leash, and his green Future Dog Guide jacket. He has big round brown eyes that are staring into the camera as if pleading for a treat.

His back is mostly covered with a dark green jacket with white writing on each side that reads FUTURE DOG GUIDE. Romero's head is slightly tilted, his tail is sticking out to one side, and his long front legs are stretched in front of him.

006 - Romero Rides the Escalator

Romero, an eleven week old black lab puppy with a long nose, big round eyes, and big droopy ears stands on an escalator moving up. The escalator is gray and has a yellow stripe along the side. Romero's front two feet are one step ahead of his back feet. He is looking calmly into the camera. He is wearing his green Future Dog Guide jacket, so there is a thick strip of green fabric across his chest, and his thin red nylon leashing is hanging in a J shape on his right side. Through the glass siding of the escalator a Shoppers Drug Mart sign is visible.

004 - Snow Puppy

Romero, an eleven week old black lab puppy sits on a layer of fresh, fluffy white snow that is marked with various dog paw prints around him. The picture is taken from above the puppy and he is looking expectantly up into the camera, lifting his right front paw slightly off the ground. Romero is wearing a blue nylon collar and his paws and muzzle are covered in a dusting of snow flakes.

000 - Preparing for Puppy

It includes a slightly frayed thin red nylon leash, two small blue nylon collars, a light blue rubber bone toy from Old Navy, a small yellow T shaped nylabone toy, and a larger nylabone that has two thick ends and the middle is white with a red stitching design like a baseball.
