103 - Early Morning

Even at 5:30am, I love waking up to this face ...
Five month old black lab puppy Romero is lying in his wire crate early in the morning, just after our alarm went off. The floor of the crate is covered by a comfy brown mat, and there is a red kong treat ball toy in the back corner of the crate. Romero is looking ever-so-sweet, pleading with his big brown eyes to be released from his crate and start the day. Visiting collie Tanner's tail is visible at the very bottom of the photo - he is lying in front of Romero's kennel.
